Wagashi Production and Sales
"Wanoka Ichiyo"
Seasonal wagashi available for pre-order.
I expand cultural exchanges through various activities overseas, including advising on local high school projects to commercialize confections using regional specialties. Abroad
I have conducted wagashi demonstrations at the Japan Culture Center in Paris,
the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO),
and ECE Engineering School. I've also hosted wagashi workshops at Espace Japon, Restaurant Paris Saône, and for students from Institut de la Tour on their study trips.
I Wagashi reflects the beauty of Japan's four seasons with motifs of flowers, birds, scenery, and moon, capturing the essence of seasonal changes. Traditional wagashi made for ceremonial occasions often embody wishes for people's happiness, imbuing them with heartfelt sentiments.
I hope to introduce many people worldwide to wagashi, not only for its deliciousness and aesthetic appeal but also as a cultural cornerstone of Japanese cuisine—a confection that speaks to the Japanese soul.
